
Chris and Jennifer Bober started Chris Bober's Building Blocks foundation in 2002 to help children in South Omaha. They have raised thousands of dollars and have been a major contributor to The Screaming Eagles Athletic Program. Chris is an active member and donor to the Knights of Columbus #3019, a board member of Garth Brooks "Teammates for Kids", and a title sponsor for the UNO Beef club's Golf Tournament. Chris and Jennifer are also active in whichever city Chris plays. In New Jersey the Bober's hosted a Christmas Shopping spree for homeless and foster children. Currently in Kansas City, they support many charities including, First Downs for Down Syndrome, The Will to Succeed Foundation, and Jennifer actively participates in the Chief's Wives Club.

Graduating from Omaha South High School in 1995, Chris was named All American and the NCC's "Most Valuable Lineman" in 1998 and 1999. After starting 45 consecutive games for UNO, Chris signed a free agent contract with the New York Giants in 2000. He started 32 games for the Giants before signing a 5-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2004. He has provided quality depth for one of the NFL's most explosive offenses, starting games at both guard and tackle. Chris was recently inducted into the South High School and the UNO Athletic Hall of Fame.
